 Girls Empowerment Network (2019 - 2021)

As a Marketing Manager at Girls Empowerment Network, I was the first person to fill this role for the organization. In my first year, I created all of the processes and procedures for the organization’s marketing & communications including, but not exhaustive; rebranding, managing public relations, design, social media, website management, blogs, SEO, digital advertising, and creating a implementing a project management platform (ASANA) for the whole organization. I also oversaw a Marketing and Communications AmeriCorps VISTA, Communications Assistant, and Intern.

In my second year at Girls Empowerment Network, I used the processes to implement integrated marketing campaigns efficiently and effectively. I oversaw a Communications Assistant and a Marketing and Communications AmeriCorps VISTA. Throughout this second year (during COVID) the organization launched Spark Kits (girl power in a box). I was crucial to the marketing project management through e-commerce (Shopify), social media management, design, advertising, and public relations. During my tenure, we launched four variations, and over 5000 Spark Kits were sold to schools and girls.

 Ladysmiths of ATX (2019 - 2022)

Ladysmiths of ATX is a community of jewelry artists coming together to build a community for themselves in Austin, Texas. I built out all of the branding, website, and other design elements- check it out on Branding Page. During my time as a volunteer and Core Member, I focused on project management through ASANA, building out word-of-mouth marketing strategies, social media engagement, and other development strategies.

Wins

In March 2020 we raised over $11,000 during our Because Black Lives Matter Campaign. We built a community of 100 members and kept them engaged on Slack. We created educational materials for our audience to share on socials like “Why Shopping Small Matters” and “How Shopping Small Helps the Environment”. We hosted monthly Sip & Smith panels where our community could come learn new skills and network. We managed digital shows called Maker Magic (Maker Magic Holiday Show 2020 & Maker Magic 2021 Valentine Show) where jewelry connoisseurs could meet our makers and buy locally handmade jewelry. During Maker Magic shows we saw a large uptick of purchases & new followers on Instagram for our makers, and engagement & new followers for our Ladysmiths of ATX Instagram.

 Greenwood Residential (2018 - 2019)

As the Social Media and Marketing Manager for Greenwood Residential I oversaw, wrote, and created all of the blogs, social media content and posting, advertising, photography, branding of the company, and marketing documentation.
